R2D2 knockoff, titled bar2d2… I had high hoops hopes with this one, but tits it’s okay. I can’t figure out if this is truly a Barmonkey or just a motorized Miller-light-bot. Me so confused long time!

I love the clean look of this Barmonkey. The long term use of the pumps still scare me from a health perspective…

Looks pretty on the outside, too bad I can’t find any pictures of the inside.

This thing looks like an old, retro, computer. I think it needs some buttons or dials…
It’s kinda freaky doing a search for barmonkey, and seeing pictures of my basement on random websites…

Funny that the guy who has the website “Life After Coffee” writes his Barmonkey UI in Java…
I love the food grade equipment, over other cheaper options…

Back in 2003, a couple kids from Harvey Mudd College built a Barmonkey. The Barmonkey poured drink ingredients into a glass in measured amounts, to make a mixed drink. Who can’t appreciate a machine that assists you in drinking, right??? It was featured on Slashdot, and that ultimately inspired me to build my own. The original was a bit crude, using windshield washer pumps, but worked rather nicely, and inspired a small cult following.
